I'm Henry the 8th I am, Henry the 8th I am I am...

Hi there folks.

You know what bothers me?

What bothers me is how there were so many of the SAME person back in Ol' England.

Example? Okay. Pour Examplay:

Henry the-8th, 7th, 14th, 135th, etc.

Pope Gregory the-.5th, 2/7ths, etc.

It's really quite annoying actually, especially when you're writing a Social Studies test and you have to match which King or Pope or whatever did this or that.

And then there are 7 of each person.

Fine. That's great. Just terrific.

Thanks teach, thanks a lot.

  1. pope gregory the 7th was originally called hildebrand, and he excommunicated Henry the 4th for appointing bishops, and he went to beg for his throne in the snow. when he was excused, he was excommunicated a second time for doing the same thing. This time though, henry drove the pope into exile. henry the 1st was the son of william the conqueror, and henry the 2nd was his grandson. then henry the 5th won the battle of agincourt in the hundred years war. and henry the 6th is not important. henry the 7th was the first tudor, and his son, henry the 8th.....
