I'm Henry the 8th I am, Henry the 8th I am I am...

Hi there folks.

You know what bothers me?

What bothers me is how there were so many of the SAME person back in Ol' England.

Example? Okay. Pour Examplay:

Henry the-8th, 7th, 14th, 135th, etc.

Pope Gregory the-.5th, 2/7ths, etc.

It's really quite annoying actually, especially when you're writing a Social Studies test and you have to match which King or Pope or whatever did this or that.

And then there are 7 of each person.

Fine. That's great. Just terrific.

Thanks teach, thanks a lot.

In other news, my friends and I had a most excellent sleepover on the weekend.

It was 80's themed.

80's as in:

Those pictures consisted of VAN HALEN, DURAN DURAN and some random 80's workout outfit, courtesy of Google Images.

We stayed up rather late. 'Rather' being 5:30 am but you know...

You know what? I'm glad I have a BLOG instead of a VLOG because I lost my voice due to illness and if I had a VLOG then this post would be not so amazing because it would basically just be me standing there and not saying anything. Whereas because I have a BLOG I am free to talk (or type) as much as I wish.

Well, Ut est totus pro iam!

P.S. that means 'That is all for now' in Latin.

Another year gone.

Today was my last day of grade 8.

All I have to say is:

HA! I PASSED GRADE 8!

Fantabulistic.

Actually, today was a kind of picnic/sports day. No classes.

*Thinks*

Today I said goodbye to some really great friends which, in one word, sucked.

They said they'll visit though.

They better.

An interesting concept

Here's an interesting question for you:

What do chickens think we taste like?

Huh. I don't think chickens have ever tasted humans, so that rules out them thinking we taste like humans.

Are chickens vegetarians? I wonder if they think we taste like seeds. Do they even think? Are they idiotic or is their intelligence beyond our comprehension?

Are they SO smart that we think they are stupid but in actuality they are smarter than us and therefore we are the stupid ones?

This question could quite possibly alter the whole universe...

My brain hurts now.

Okay, so this was me at approximately 1:27pm on thursday. Guess why?

Have you guessed yet?

How about now?

Okay, I'll just tell you then.

IT'S BECAUSE... I finished my Math exam.

Woo for me! -insert smiley emoticon here-

AND I just finished school yesterday.

Hazza!

Here is a summer poem by WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE called Shall I compare thee to a summers day?:

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date.
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature's changing course, untrimmed;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st,
Nor shall death brag thou wand'rest in his shade,
When in eternal lines to Time thou grow'st.
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

"Underpants?!? We don't need no stinking underpants!" Well, apparently you need these ones.

This is the best thing ever:

A team of U.S. scientists has designed some new men's briefs that may be comfortable, durable and even stylish but, unlike most underpants, may be able to save lives.

Printed on the waistband and in constant contact with the skin is an electronic biosensor, designed to measure blood pressure, heart rate and other vital signs.

Underpants will save you all. Just sayin'.

God save Hillary Clinton!

As some of you may or may not know, Queen Elizibeth II of England celebrates two birthdays every year in honour of King Edward VII's tradition of wanting a brithday in November (his actually birthday) and another birthday party in the summer season. The queen's actual date of birth is on April 21st, but celebrates it again in June, this time on June 12.

The U.S Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, sent a congratulatory letter to the queen for her 84th birthday.

Clinton's message, sent on behalf of President Barack Obama and the American people, wished the queen well on her 84th birthday and hailed the special relationship between Britain and the U.S.

That "special relationship" has been the subject of debate in Britain, where some politicians feel too much emphasis has been placed on it.

"On this celebratory occasion, we pay tribute to the queen's life and legacy and honour the special relationship between our two nations," Clinton said. The statement noted that "the young princess Elizabeth helped rally her nation in the darkest days of that war, and she has remained a beacon of integrity and resolve ever since."

"The United States has always been grateful for her friendship and example," she said. "Once again, I wish Queen Elizabeth II a very happy birthday and peace and prosperity for the people of the United Kingdom in the year to come."

Only problem, it was a week too soon.

Whoops.
